Who we are

This website is operated by Samuel Ashley Mee, trading as Review Mee.NFC, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

We trade from a home address, so it is not published here. Our full trading address is supplied with every order confirmation, and is available on request at any time by emailing reviewmee.nfc@gmail.com. Returns should be sent to the address given on your order confirmation.

In these policies, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Review Mee.NFC. “You” means the person placing an order.

Terms & conditions

1. About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed through this website. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them before buying. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Our products

We sell NFC cards and keyrings that open a review page when tapped with a compatible phone. All products are supplied in our standard design. We do not offer custom printing, personalised artwork or bespoke branding.

What we do configure is the chip inside: it is programmed with the review link you supply, so the product is unique to your business even though the design is the same for every customer.

Product images are illustrative. Colours may vary slightly between screens and the printed item.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order you will be asked for the Google or Trustpilot review link you want the chip programmed with. It is your responsibility to give us the correct link. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering and we will help you find it.

Your order is accepted when we send you confirmation. If we cannot fulfil your order we will tell you and refund you in full.

4. Price and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery costs, where they apply, are shown before you pay.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

We take reasonable care to price correctly. If we spot an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you to confirm or cancel the order rather than proceed at the wrong price.

5. Compatibility

NFC works on iPhone XS and newer, and on most Android phones from around 2015 onwards, with no app required. Older iPhones (7, 8 and X) can read the tag but the customer must open the NFC reader from Control Centre first. Some phones have NFC disabled in settings.

We cannot guarantee the product will work with every phone ever made, and this is not a fault with the product.

6. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

We are not responsible for business losses. Our products are sold for use in a business, but we have no control over how many reviews you receive, what those reviews say, or how Google or Trustpilot rank, display or moderate them.

7. Third-party platforms

Google and the Google logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Trustpilot is a trademark of Trustpilot A/S. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by either company.

Our products link to the official review pages. We do not filter, gate or screen reviews, and we will not supply anything designed to do so — that breaches both platforms' policies and puts your listing at risk.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own country.

Delivery

We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.

• Dispatch: orders are normally programmed, tested and dispatched within 2 working days.
• Method: Royal Mail, tracked.
• Cost: shown at checkout before you pay.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. If something is delayed beyond our control we will let you know as soon as we can.

If nothing has arrived within 14 days of dispatch, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier. Goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to the address you gave us.

Returns & refunds

Your 14-day right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods. You do not have to give a reason.

Although we program each chip with your review link, we treat every order as cancellable within this period. Simply email reviewmee.nfc@gmail.com with your order number to cancel.

After telling us, return the goods within 14 days. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty or not as described. We recommend a tracked service, as you are responsible for the goods until they reach us.

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, using the same payment method you used to buy. We refund the original standard delivery charge, but not any premium upgrade you chose.

We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value if you have handled the goods more than was necessary to check them.

Faulty or incorrect goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not:

• within 30 days you can reject them for a full refund;
• after 30 days we will repair or replace them, and if that is not possible you may be entitled to a refund.

If a chip has been programmed with the wrong link because of our error, tell us and we will put it right at our cost.

We pay return postage on faulty or incorrect items.

How to return something

Email reviewmee.nfc@gmail.com with your order number and what the problem is, and we will confirm the return address and next steps. The return address is also printed on your order confirmation.

Please do not send anything back before contacting us, so we can make sure it reaches the right place.

Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your name, email address, phone number and delivery address
• Your business name and your Google or Trustpilot review link
• Order details and correspondence with us

We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To fulfil your order — programming the chip, dispatching goods, handling returns. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
• To answer enquiries you send us. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to, and we never sell your data.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — to take payment
• Royal Mail or another carrier — to deliver your order
• HMRC or other authorities where the law requires it

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC requirements. General enquiries that do not become orders are deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email reviewmee.nfc@gmail.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. If you proceed to checkout, Stripe sets cookies necessary to process your payment securely — see Stripe's own privacy policy for details.
